  • We Are A Tax-Aide Site

As a Tax-Aide site, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers will be at the Family Peace Center to provide free tax assistance and preparation to Family Peace Center clients and community members. From the words of a survivor who helped design this jewelry set:

“To me, I feel the rose gold appears to be a softer, beautiful color, but it is still a strong and solid metal – just like survivors. Having mother of pearl close to our hearts keeps a feeling of peace, hope, and light where we need it most. It is also a reminder that survivors of domestic violence can be mothers, daughters, sisters, friends. Using the bold purple stone is a reminder of what we have overcome, that we are resilient, and that finding peace is not far away. Choosing the purple stud earrings is a reminder to listen to those around you who may be needing help. That’s where Sojourner comes in. Thank you for all you do to support those who need it most!”
