We welcome individuals and groups to volunteer at Sojourner to help transform lives impacted by domestic violence. Whether you have a little spare time or are looking for a longer-term commitment, we can match your interests and availability with our needs.

Corporate giving
Businesses also can support Sojourner. You can host an employee day of giving, denim day or benefit, and encourage participants to make a donation to Sojourner. You can also wear purple and hold a domestic violence awareness event in October. Other ways businesses can get involved:

Host a fundraiser
Interested in putting together a fundraising event that benefits Sojourner? You’ve come to the right place! Take a look at our Community Fundraiser Toolkit to find out more about hosting an event.
Once you’ve decided on a fundraiser, complete our Community Fundraiser Application a minimum of 30 days prior to your event. Within 5 business days of receiving your request, a member of our Development team will be in touch to provide approval and go over any questions or needs you may have. Events benefiting Sojourner must be approved by our Development team.
