Spotlight on human trafficking in Milwaukee

The Jeffrey Epstein case and recent local media coverage have shined a new light on the problem of human trafficking.

Sojourner partners with Milwaukee Police Department's Sensitive Crimes to lead the Milwaukee Joint Human Trafficking Task Force. We work together to take action against all forms human trafficking (sex, labor and domestic servitude).

Human trafficking victims often have experienced several forms of trauma throughout their lives (polyvictimization), so we work closely with our partners to take a client-centered approach when coordinating care and support and to facilitate healing.
