Peace Brew – Lullaby Project
Thursday, May 8
9:30 - 10:30 AM
Sojourner Family Peace Center
619 W Walnut St, Milwaukee, WI, 53212

The Lullaby Project - an initiative of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute - connects parents and caregivers with professional artists to create and perform personalized lullabies for their children. In Milwaukee, the project is made possible through a partnership between Sojourner and the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. This collaboration promotes parental well-being, supports childhood development, and strengthens the bond between parent and child. Through the Lullaby Project, parents have the opportunity to compose songs that serve as a lasting reminder of their unwavering love - a love that endures through life’s challenges.

At May’s Peace Brew event, we’ll take a closer look at this impactful project as we anticipate hearing this year’s lullabies at the 2025 Lullaby Project Celebration Concert in June. As one former participant shared, "That's what these lullabies are. They're a way to say 'I love you,' and everyone needs to hear it—and everyone needs to say it."

Please register below. Coffee and refreshments will be served.

Peace Brew is proudly sponsored by Colectivo Coffee! The first 25 participants to attend will receive a free pound of coffee from Colectivo’s special blend chosen specifically for this series.
