Sojourner walks alongside 10,000 women, children, and men experiencing domestic violence each year. Through crisis shelter and hotline services, system advocacy, healing services, and children’s program, Sojourner helps ensure the safety of survivors and provides a pathway to peace through opportunities to make lasting changes for themselves and their families. It is important that your (or your broker) alert us via phone ((414) 810-3504) or email (MichelleN@familypeacecenter.org) that the gift is being transferred to our account, as the stock will arrive in our account without identification. Please include a mailing address where we can send a tax receipt.
Once your stock gift is processed, a tax receipt will be mailed stating the name of the stock, the number of shares, and the date it was received by Sojourner.
Sojourner Donor Privacy Policy
Your security is our priority.
We will not sell, share or trade our donors’ names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. This policy applies to all information received by Sojourner, both online and offline, on any Platform (“Platform” includes the Sojourner website and mobile applications), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communication. To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.
