GIFTS IN KIND

Often, clients come to Sojourner with the clothes they are wearing and little else. Gifts in kind help us meet their and their children’s immediate needs. We are in urgent need of hygiene products like shampoo, condition, products for textured hair, lotions, toothpaste, soap and deodorant, and clothes for women, children, and men.

Items we are unable to accept

To comply with health and safety guidelines, we are unable to accept the following items:

Furniture
Vehicles
Used clothing or bedding
New or gently used items that are not in the original packaging or that have been stored for an extended period.
Expired food, baby formula or personal care products
Donations with violent themes (e.g., graphics on clothing, toy guns, etc.)

 If you would like to organize a collection drive, please let us know! We can provide lists of urgent items, collection bins, and agency information to support you.
