Sojourner Advocates accept donated school supplies from a representative of WaterStone Bank. Thank you!!

Our friends at WaterStone Bank have concluded their school supply drive to benefit Sojourner and recently delivered backpacks full of supplies. The backpacks were generously donated by Trinity Episcopal Church. Our Advocates are now in the process of distributing supplies to our clients’ children.

We are so grateful to these community partners and the public for supporting our school supply drive safely and efficiently during the pandemic for the past two years. The pandemic has created many challenges for our clients, including financial difficulties. The donated supplies ensure their children have the tools needed for a successful school year.

We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and creativity on how to meet this urgent need while safeguarding against COVID-19. We continue to collect school supplies via our School Supply Amazon Wish List as new needs arise and share any surplus items with our partners. In compliance with our COVID-19 safeguards, we ask that all in-kind gifts are donated and shipped using Amazon or another retailer.
