Shine Your Light live! sneak preview

We’re gearing up for Shine Your Light live!, a virtual celebration and show of solidarity for domestic violence survivors on Shine Your Light Day, Thursday, Sept. 9. The program, co-hosted by Sojourner President and CEO Carmen Pitre and Fox 6’s Kim Murphy, celebrates survivors and spreads hope to the 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men who have experienced some form of physical violence by an intimate partner.

This week, we had the honor of filming a survivor who will be featured during the program. We are deeply moved by her strength and honored to share her story.

Shine Your Light live! will be streamed at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021. Registration is required to view the program. Watch on your own or consider hosting a Ray of Light fundraising watch party.
