THE SHOT is a play about Katherine Graham, former Publisher and CEO of the Washington Post after her husband’s death. Katharine went on to publish the Pentagon Papers, take on President Richard Nixon as the country grappled with Watergate and blazed a trail for countless women who would precede her in the field of journalism.

Katherine secretly endured domestic abuse by her husband over a 20-year period. Emmy Award Winning actress and 2013 Ten Chimneys Lunt-Fontanne Fellow, Sharon Lawrence, stars in this one-woman play reading about the evening Phil Graham took his own life.
